Brooklyn Nets vs Charlotte Hornets Preview, What to Watch

The Brooklyn Nets aim to get back to winning ways when they visit the Charlotte Hornets for their upcoming NBA game. Two of the Eastern Conference's bottom three spots are held by Brooklyn and Charlotte. Our prediction for this match is below.

With 31 of their 43 games lost, the Hornets have the second-worst record in the East. The previous time they played at home, the Lakers defeated them 112-107.

They had lost three of their previous four games. Due to an injury problem, Charles Lee's team will be without seven players for this match.

Brandon Miller and LaMelo Ball, two of the team's top scorers, will not play against the Nets.

In the first encounter at home, the Nets prevailed 116-115, giving them the lead in this series. In an attempt to snap their current losing streak, they will aim for another win.

The team of Jordi Fernandez has dropped seven games in a row. Their current losing streak is the second-longest and worst of the season.

Last time out, the Nets, who are starting a brief two-game road trip, lost to the Kings 110-96 at home. With eight players listed on the injury report for this trip, Brooklyn is likewise having trouble with ailments.

Maxwell Lewis, Cam Johnson, Noah Clowney, and Bojan Bogdanovic are all out, along with top scorer Cam Thomas.

Detroit Pistons vs Indiana Pacers Preview, What to Watch

In their upcoming NBA game, the Indiana Pacers will host the Detroit Pistons. The Eastern Conference's two clubs are separated by 2.5 games. Continue reading to see our prediction for this game.

The Pacers defeated the Spurs handily last time out to get back to winning ways. They had fallen 140-110 at home in the first of a back-to-back matchup with the Western Conference squad.

Rick Carlisle's team exacted revenge in the rematch, defeating their hosts 136-98. With a 25–20 record, they now rank fifth in the East and have won nine of their past eleven games. They have defeated the Pistons twice this season.

The last time the Pistons visited Indiana, they defeated the Pacers by a margin of 24 points. They broke a streak of five defeats in this match with a 130-106 victory in November.

As they want to break out of their present rut, J.B. Bickerstaff's team will hope for another similar result.

The Pistons appear ready for a postseason comeback and have been one of the season's surprise packages. With a 23-23 record, they are in ninth position in the rankings.

They have, however, faltered in their most recent games. In the previous six games, Detroit only secured two victories.

They are currently on a two-game losing streak and were most recently defeated by the Cavaliers, who lead the league, 110-91 on the road.

Toronto Raptors vs Washington Wizards Preview, What to Watch

In an attempt to snap their NBA losing streak, the Washington Wizards will host the Toronto Raptors. The Wizards are 7.5 games behind the Raptors, who are in 12th place in the Eastern Conference, going into this game. Our prediction for this match is below.

The Wizards have dropped their last 14 games. This season's longest losing streak is currently in effect. After losing 39 of their 45 games, Brian Keefe's team is currently the league's weakest team.

Last time out, Washington lost to the Mavericks 130-108, capping a six-game road trip to the West.

The Raptors are in great form going into this game and will be sure to cause their hosts even more suffering. In their last seven games, Darko Rajakovic's team has won six of them.

They have had their finest run of the season thus far. They only had one victory in 17 games before to this purple patch.

The Raps have improved to 14-32 and are currently on a four-game winning streak, which is the equal longest active stretch. They are now only 5.5 games away from the play-in spots.

Toronto recently defeated the Pelicans 113-104 at home.

Chicago Bulls vs Boston Celtics Preview, What to Watch

The Chicago Bulls will need to play without their top scorer, Zach LaVine, if they are to defeat the Boston Celtics, the host team, on Wednesday night.

According to Chicago coach Billy Donovan, LaVine will not be traveling with the club for its three-game road trip because he and his wife, Hunter, recently announced they are expecting their third child. The Bulls will go to Detroit on Sunday and Toronto on Friday.

LaVine, who has been linked to trade speculations this season, is shooting 51.1 percent from the field and averaging 24.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game. He scored a team-high 21 points as the Bulls defeated Denver 129-121 on Monday, snapping a two-game losing run. The bench scored 41 points for Chicago.

Chicago's 3-point shooting percentage was 24 out of 53. The Bulls had lost seven of their previous eight games going into the game.

The Celtics have been playing erratic basketball this month, despite their second-place finish in the Eastern Conference. Boston's record over the past 12 games is 6-6. Boston lost to Houston 114–112 on Monday, dropping their home record to 15–9 and their third straight home defeat. Last season, the Celtics had a 37-4 home record.

Al Horford (toe), Sam Hauser (hip), and Derrick White (shin) were not present for Boston's game. While Hauser, Horford, and Jayson Tatum (knee) are doubtful, White is anticipated to play on Wednesday.

Despite having a 12-point lead early in the fourth quarter, the Celtics lost. They had the lead in the fourth quarter for the ninth time this season, and it was their seventh defeat when they had a lead of at least ten points at one point during a game.

Chicago won 117-108 in Boston on December 19, which was one of Boston's home losses this season. That evening, LaVine scored 36 points.

The teams have faced each other twice this season, both in Chicago, with Boston winning both times. On November 29 and December 21, the Celtics won 138-129 and 123-98, respectively.

Denver Nuggets vs New York Knicks Preview, What to Watch

The last lengthy homestand of the season for the New York Knicks is off to a historically good start. The Denver Nuggets' longest road trip of the season isn't going nearly as well.

New York hosts Denver on Wednesday night in a battle of potential NBA title contenders.

Both teams were off Tuesday after playing Monday, when the Knicks led nearly wire-to-wire in a 143-106 win over the Memphis Grizzlies, while the Nuggets frittered away a 10-point lead they held in the third quarter and fell to the Chicago Bulls, 129-121.

The Knicks completed their most prolific back-to-back stretch in almost 60 years, after rolling to a 143-120 win over the Sacramento Kings on Saturday night to open the five-game homestand.

New York last scored at least 140 points in consecutive games from Dec. 11-14, 1965, when the Knicks beat the Baltimore Bullets 150-127 and edged the San Francisco Warriors 141-137.

Mikal Bridges (28 points) led seven Knicks in double figures Monday night as they trailed just once -- at 2-0 -- and dominated the Grizzles on both ends of the floor. New York outscored Memphis 83-54 after halftime and finished the game with 20 steals, the second-most by an NBA team in a game this season. The Atlanta Hawks had 22 steals against the Toronto Raptors on Dec. 29.

New York, which is now 6-6 against teams in the running for the playoffs, will play four consecutive teams in the top six of the Western Conference to finish up its homestand. The Houston Rockets will visit on Monday night, after the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday night.

The Nuggets have lost back-to-back games for the first time since Dec. 25–27, and their defensive performance hasn't been strong over the past two games. Since February 9–14, 2024, Denver has not suffered three consecutive losses.

The Nuggets have allowed the Bulls and Minnesota Timberwolves a total of 262 points, which is the most points Denver has allowed in back-to-back games since giving up 264 points in back-to-back overtime victories over the Toronto Raptors and Brooklyn.

Denver handed up 34 points in the fourth quarter, when Chicago shot 13-of-24 from the field (54.2 percent), including 6-of-13 (46.2 percent) from 3-point range, and let seven Bulls players score in double figures on Monday night.

Nikola Jokic lost yet another epic game due to defensive issues. In addition to recording another triple-double (33 points, 12 rebounds, and 14 assists), the three-time NBA MVP became the first player in history to go 10-of-10 from the field in the first half and dish out at least eight assists.

Sacramento Kings vs Philadelphia 76ers Preview, What to Watch

The Sixers are averaging 108.3 points per game this season (25th in the league), but they are better on defence, allowing 112.2 PPG (13th overall).

Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings have also been in good shape, 7-3 in their last 10 after easing past the struggling Brooklyn Nets 110-96 on Tuesday.

De’Aaron Fox led the team with 30 points, as Sacramento came to life in the second half, outscoring their opponents 63-42 to win the game at a canter.

The Kings are averaging 116.9 points per game (sixth in the NBA) but allow 114.6 PPG (20th overall).

Dallas Mavericks vs New Orleans Pelicans Preview, What to Watch

They are currently on a three-match winning streak which is an improved display having suffered two consecutive defeats beforehand.

The Dallas Mavericks' last visit to the Smoothie King Center ended in a narrow 119-116 defeat on January 16th and will hope for a better outcome this time.

The Mavericks have been in poor form in the league. They have dropped six of their last nine games. However, they come into this match following a 130-108 home victory against the Washington Wizards.

On the road, they performed below expectations losing six of their last seven outings. Their overall record this season has been average as they have an 11-12 record in 23 games.

They have now won three straight games, which is a better showing than their previous two straight losses.

The Dallas Mavericks are hoping for a better result this time around after their most recent visit to the Smoothie King Center ended in a tight 119-116 loss on January 16.

In the league, the Mavericks have not been playing well. Six of their last nine games have been losses. But they have already defeated the Washington Wizards 130-108 at home before this game.

They lost six of their final seven games while traveling, performing below expectations. With an 11–12 record in 23 games this season, their overall record has been mediocre.

Los Angeles Clippers vs San Antonio Spurs Preview, What to Watch

Los Angeles Clippers were not a match for the Phoenix Suns when it came to shooting from beyond the arc. They found themselves on the wrong end of a narrow 111-109 scoreline at the Footprint Center. This marked their third loss in five games.

Ivica Zubac led the team with 25 points. James Harden chipped in 24 points while Norman Powell scored 23 points for the team.

In light of that result, the Clippers saw their two-match winning streak end. A look at their away record has left much to be desired. They have a 1-5 record on the road.

When it came to shooting from beyond the arc, the Phoenix Suns were superior over the Los Angeles Clippers. At the Footprint Center, they were defeated by a slim score of 111-109. They had lost three of their last five games.

With 25 points, Ivica Zubac was the team's top scorer. Norman Powell scored 23 points for the squad, and James Harden contributed 24 points.

That outcome put a stop to the Clippers' two-game winning streak. Their record on the road has been far from stellar. On the road, their record is 1–5.

Minnesota Timberwolves vs Phoenix Suns Preview, What to Watch

On Wednesday's NBA schedule, the eighth-place Phoenix Suns will face the seventh-place Minnesota Timberwolves in a matchup in the Western Conference. With a record of 25-21, the Twolves are slightly ahead of the Suns, who are 24-21. We've prepared a match prediction for you!

The Phoenix Suns will enter this game hoping to win four straight, as they have been playing well lately. The Suns defeated the Clippers 111-109 at home on Monday, led by Durant and Booker's combined 50 points.

The Suns are playing at their best level since the season began, winning eight of their first nine games. They have won eight of their last ten games overall.

Over the past ten games, they have increased their scoring from their seasonal average of 112.7 points per game to 115.9 points.

As they travel to the Footprint Center, Minnesota is trying to extend their own winning streak. In a 100-92 victory at home on Monday, the visitors demonstrated why they have one of the top defenses in the NBA by holding the Hawks to 92 points.

The Timberwolves have now won three straight games and are allowing the fourth fewest points per game (107.7).

Oklahoma City Thunder vs Golden State Warriors Suns Preview, What to Watch

The OKC Thunder will play the Golden State Warriors in California on Wednesday night, marking the return of the NBA's top club to action. The home team, the Warriors (23-23), are ranked eleventh in the Western rankings, while the Thunder (37-8) are in first place. Now, let's anticipate the match!

The Warriors, who are fighting for a play-in position in the very contested Western Conference, have had a difficult season.

After a quick 12-3 start to the season, Golden State has battled with consistency, which has been made worse by their injury issues. Even without the services of Curry, Kuminga, and Draymond Green, they managed to easily defeat the Utah Jazz 114-103 at home last night.

As the Dubs play the second half of a back-to-back, Curry, who was being rested, is probably going to play here.

Regarding the visitors, this dominant Oklahoma City team keeps winning games. With a 118-108 victory over the Trail Blazers on Sunday, the Thunder recovered from their second defeat to Dallas in six days.

The Thunder have an impressive 17-5 road record this season and have won seven of their last ten games. With the victory over Portland, OKC celebrated the return of Isaiah Hartenstein, which was fantastic news.
