San Antonio Spurs vs Indiana Pacers Preview, What to Watch

On Thursday night, the Indiana Pacers will host the San Antonio Spurs at the Accor Arena in the NBA. The Spurs (19-22) are ranked 12th in the Western Conference, while the Pacers (24-19) are ranked fourth in the Eastern Conference. See our prediction for the match below.

After defeating the Philadelphia 76ers at home on Monday, the Pacers, who are currently 8-2 in their last ten games, are winning here for the third time in a row.

With 21 points, Pascal Siakam led the squad, but Indiana's bench contributions—36 points from Ben Sheppard, Thomas Bryant, and Aaron Nesmith—were the primary factor separating the two teams that day.

With an average of 115.2 points per game and an average of 114.6 points per game allowed (21st overall), the Pacers are tied for 10th place in the scoring standings.

The San Antonio Spurs, however, have struggled recently, going 3-7 in their last ten games and attempting to avoid a fourth straight loss after falling to the Heat 128-107 on Monday.

Despite scoring more than 20 points apiece, Devin Vassell and Victor Wembanyama were unable to match Miami's scorching 54.5% shooting from beyond the arc.

This season, the Spurs are in the middle of the pack in both categories, ranking 16th in terms of points scored (111.6 PPG) and 15th in terms of points against (113.0).

Portland Trail Blazers vs Orlando Magic Preview, What to Watch

On Friday morning, the Orlando Magic will host the Portland Trail Blazers at the Kia Center in the NBA. The Blazers (15-28) are in 13th place in the Western Conference, while the Magic (23-22) are in eighth place in the Eastern Conference. See our prediction for the match below.

After dropping six of their previous seven games and their fourth consecutive defeat at the hands of the Raptors 109-93 on Wednesday, the Orlando Magic have been losing ground in the conference rankings.

Despite Paolo Banchero's 26 points and 12 rebounds, Orlando's side only made 9 of 31 shots from beyond the arc and shot 41% from the field.

With an average of 103.9 points per game this season and 95.7 in their previous three games, the Magic are the NBA's lowest-scoring club. They do, however, have the second-best defense, giving up 104.4 points per game.

In the meantime, the Portland Trail Blazers, who have had trouble staying consistent this season, defeated the Heat 116-107 on the road in midweek to record their second consecutive victory.

Miami led the game early on, but Portland outscored their opponents 61-33 in the second and third quarters to take a 22-point lead before winning the game in the final session.

This season, the Blazers are averaging 108.1 points per game, which ranks them 26th in the league, while giving up 116.5 points per game, which ranks them 24th in the NBA.

Dallas Mavericks vs Oklahoma City Thunder Preview, What to Watch

In an attempt to win three straight games in the NBA, the Oklahoma City Thunder will next host the ailing Dallas Mavericks. With a 13.5-game lead over their visitors, who are now in ninth place, OKC leads the Western Conference. Our prediction for this match is below.

The Thunder have an 8-2 record from their last 10 games and have won their last two. Mike Daigneualt's team just defeated the visiting Utah Jazz 123-114.

They were seven games ahead of their closest Western rivals after their 36th victory of the year. Shai Gilgeous Alexander improved his chances of winning MVP by scoring a career-high 54 points against the Jazz.

Injuries aren't helping the Mavericks' stagnation. In their last 13 games, Jason Kidd's team has only won three. Luka Doncic suffered a calf injury on Christmas Day, which corresponded with this dip.

Other team stars have been sidelined during that time because of injuries, and eight players are included on the injury report for this trip. Doncic has been added to the list of absentees, along with Derrick Lively, Dante Exum, Dwight Powell, and Jaden Hardy.

Klay Thompson is uncertain after missing Dallas' most recent game due to an ankle injury. The Timberwolves defeated the Mavs 115-114 at home, their second straight defeat.

Sacramento Kings vs Denver Nuggets Preview, What to Watch

In their upcoming NBA game, the Denver Nuggets will host the Sacramento Kings. The Nuggets are four games ahead of the Kings, who have risen to seventh place in the Western Conference, going into this matchup. Continue reading to see our prediction for this game.

In their last eight games, the Nuggets have won seven of them. Mike Malone's team has been able to solidify their hold on fourth place thanks to this prosperous stretch.

Denver defeated the visiting 76ers 144-109 to win their third straight game. With the victory, the team's record now stands at 27-16, two games clear of second place in the Western Conference.

The Nuggets will be confident of winning here because they have defeated the Kings in their last two meetings.

Since the start of the new year, the Kings have had their best run of play. Doug Christie's team is back in the running for the playoffs after winning 10 of their previous 11 games.

Mike Brown was fired as Sacramento's coach after the team dropped six straight games prior to this incredible run of play. The Kings, who have now won three straight games, upset the Warriors 123-117 at home in their most recent game.

The Kings have won the majority of their games in this purple patch at home, and now that they are embarking on a demanding six-game road trip, the true test will begin.

Chicago Bulls vs Golden State Warriors Preview, What to Watch

In the NBA cross-conference game, the Chicago Bulls (19-25) will meet the Golden State Warriors (21-22). The Bulls are ranked tenth in the Eastern Conference, and the Warriors are ranked eleventh in the Western Conference. This is our prediction for the match.

Three days ago, the Golden State Warriors' game versus the reigning champion Celtics produced some highlights. On paper, their loss of 125-85 was their worst at home since January 1985.

The Warriors' performance suffered as they lost 123-177 on the road to the Sacramento Kings as a result of that setback. This was their second consecutive defeat.

They have lost four of their last six league games, which is a bad sign for them.

The Chicago Bulls, who defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 112-99 on the road, enter this game with fresh confidence. This outcome put an end to the league's five-match losing run.

That doesn't alter the fact that the Bulls are still struggling, though. The total point line has crossed four times in their last eight games, and they have lost six of them.

The team hasn't impressed on the road yet. In their last six games, they have suffered four defeats. It's also important to note that before to their most recent victory over the Clippers on the road, they had lost three straight games.

Boston Celtics vs Los Angeles Lakers Preview, What to Watch

The NBA cross-conference game between the Boston Celtics (31-13) and Los Angeles Lakers (23-18) is scheduled for Friday at Crypto.com Arena. The Celtics are ranked second in the Eastern Conference, and the Lakers are ranked sixth in the Western Conference. This is our prediction for the match.

The Los Angeles Lakers easily defeated the Washington Wizards 111-88 at home on Thursday, bouncing back from their road loss to the Clippers.

With a triple-double of 21 points, 10 rebounds, and 13 assists, LeBron James was the game's most impressive player.

Three of the Lakers' last four games have been victories. For a team that has dropped three straight games, this is a huge improvement. As they enter this match on a three-game winning streak, they have also performed admirably at their base.

Given that their most recent meeting was in a 114-105 away loss in February 2024, the Boston Celtics will be playing away from the Lakers.

The Celtics enter this game having defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 117-113 on the road in overtime. This was their second consecutive victory.

Now, Joe Mazzulla's team has won eight of their last twelve games. The club has played much better away from home, winning five of their last seven games and going on a winning streak of two games.
