Brooklyn Nets vs Washington Wizards Preview, What to Watch

Monday's NBA game between the Brooklyn Nets and the Washington Wizards will take place at Capital One Arena.  The Nets are 12-17 away from home, and the Wizards are 5-25 at home in the East.  This is our prediction for the match.

Right now, the Eastern Conference table's poorest record belongs to the Washington Wizards.  They are at the bottom of the league standings with a 9-47 record over their last 56 games.

The Wizards are in a rut after going on a three-game winning streak, which was their best league run this season.  After losing to the Orlando Magic on the road 110-90 on Sunday, they have now dropped six straight games.

They are now placed 27th in the league with an average of 108.4 points per game.  They have the worst record in the defensive category, giving up 121.7 opponent points per game (30th).

This matchup will be seen by the Brooklyn Nets as a chance to increase their winning run to two games.

In their first game after an All-Star Weekend, the Nets faced the soaring Cleveland Cavaliers.  As anticipated, they lost 110-97 at home.

They swiftly overcame that setback, though, as they defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 105-103 on the road on Sunday.  They improved to 21-35 in the East as a result of that outcome.

Chicago Bulls vs Philadelphia 76ers Preview, What to Watch

In their upcoming NBA game, the Philadelphia 76ers will play the Chicago Bulls.  The Bulls are 1.5 games ahead of the Sixers in 10th place in the Eastern Conference going into this game, while the Sixers are in 13th place.  Continue reading to see our prediction for this game.

This season, the Sixers have had a difficult time.  Nick Nurse's team is now on a seven-game losing run and has a dismal 20-36 record.

At home, where they are 10-19, they suffered four of the skid's losses.  The Sixers, who are currently dealing with an injury issue, lost to the Nets 105-103 at home in their most recent game.

Joel Embiid participated in the game and scored 14 points despite having a knee injury.  However, he is probably going to miss this game as well as the rest of the season.

The most recent report also lists Tyrese Maxey as uncertain.

The Bulls have now fallen to 13 games below.500 after losing their previous six games.  They suffered their 35th defeat of the season last time out, losing 121-117 at home against the Suns.  In the postseason bracket, no other team has suffered as many losses.

The Bulls are also concerned about injuries, as Patrick Williams, Jalen Smith, and Ayo Dosunm are all sidelined.  In addition to trying to break out of their present rut, the Bulls want to halt their three-game losing streak against the Sixers.

Denver Nuggets vs Indiana Pacers Preview, What to Watch

The Denver Nuggets aim to bounce back to winning ways as they visit the Indiana Pacers for their next NBA game.  Both teams are in the top four of their leagues and have performed well this season.  Continue reading to see our prediction for this game.

The Pacers, who have been playing well, are looking to win four straight games.  Rick Carlisle's team had lost three of their last five games going into the All-Star break.

They have been outstanding since the break, winning consecutive games over the Grizzlies and Clippers.  They improved to 32-23 after defeating the Clippers 129-111 in their most recent game.  Isaiah Jackson and James Johnson are not participating in this match.

The Nuggets have defeated the Pacers eight times in a row, including five consecutive away victories.  They will feel secure going back to winning ways because of their domination.

Mike Malone's club, which had led the league in February, just suffered a 123-100 loss to the Lakers at home.  They dropped to third place in the West after suffering their 20th loss of the season, ending a nine-game winning streak.

The Grizzlies and Denver are tied for the second-best record in the Western Conference.  Fifteen of their 37 victories have come against East opponents.

Los Angeles Clippers vs Detroit Pistons Preview, What to Watch

The NBA cross-conference game between the Detroit Pistons (31-26) and the Los Angeles Clippers (31-25) takes place at Little Caesars Arena on Monday.  In the Western Conference, the Clippers are sixth, and in the Eastern Conference, the Pistons are sixth.  This is our prediction for the match.

The Detroit Pistons defeated the San Antonio Spurs 125-110 on the road to start the season after the All-Star Weekend.  It wasn't until they defeated the Atlanta Hawks 148-143 on the road on Sunday that they were able to add another victory to their resume.

With 38 points, 7 rebounds, and 12 assists, Cade Cunningham was the game's most notable player.  With 24 points, Malik Beasley also helped the team win.

Thanks to that victory, the Pistons have now won six straight games, and they are looking for another victory to boost their spirits going into Sunday game.

Conversely, the Los Angeles Clippers have been in a bad mood.  Since the All-Star break, they have lost two games.

A 129-111 loss to the Indiana Pacers on the road on Sunday was the most recent of those disappointments.

The Clippers had a three-game winning streak prior to this two-game losing streak, and they will look to resume their winning ways in this matchup.  They have a winning run of ten games versus the Pistons right now.

Miami Heat vs Atlanta Hawks Preview, What to Watch

Next next for the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA is the Miami Heat.  In the Western Conference standings, both teams are tied and only one game separates them.  Continue reading to see our prediction for this game.

Nineth in the East, the Hawks are looking to end a three-game losing streak.  After the All-Star break, they have lost both of their ties, the most recent of which being a 148-143 setback to the Pistons at home.

In this three-game skid, this was the second game in which both teams had scored more than 140 points.  The Hawks have lost 31 games and are now five games below.500. They are currently on the second night of a back-to-back.

With a victory here, the Heat will be looking to extend their lead over the Hawks by one game.  This is the second night of a back-to-back for Erik Spoelstra's team as well.

They defeated the Raptors 120-111 in overtime after the All-Star break.  They were pinned back and fell 120-113 in their subsequent game against the Bucks in Milwaukee.

After their 29th loss of the season, the Heat are currently three games below.500.  Miami was defeated 120-110 in the season's first encounter just after Christmas, after having won two straight in Atlanta.

Minnesota Timberwolves vs Oklahoma City Thunder Preview, What to Watch

Portland Trail Blazers vs Utah Jazz Preview, What to Watch

The next NBA matchup is between the Utah Jazz and the Portland Trail Blazers, two of the league's lowest-ranked teams.  The two teams are nearly ten games apart and are in the bottom three of the Western Conference.  Continue reading to see our prediction for this game.

The Jazz recently defeated the Houston Rockets, which was thrilling and uplifting.  The visiting Rockets were defeated 124-115 by Will Hardy's team, who have now won twice in their last four games.

With a 14-42 record, they continue to be the second-worst-performing team in the West.  In December, the Jazz defeated the Blazers 141-99 in their season opener.

The Blazers have just won as well.  The team led by Chauncey Billups defeated the Hornets 141-88 at home to end a four-game losing streak.

The greatest triumph in the team's history was this one.  With 24 victories to date, Portland is 9.5 games ahead of the Jazz for the 13th spot in the Western Conference.  Due to injury, Robert Williams and Deandre Ayton will not be playing in this game.

The previous time the Blazers played the Jazz, they prevailed by a slim margin of two points.  In the game, Ayton recorded a double-double with 18 points.

Charlotte Hornets vs Sacramento Kings Preview, What to Watch

The Sacramento Kings' next NBA game will be against the Charlotte Hornets.  While their hosts are second from last in the East, they come into this game with the tenth-best record in the Western Conference.  Continue reading to see our prediction for this game.

The Kings just suffered a crushing defeat.  When they returned from the All-Star break, the Warriors defeated Doug Christie's team 132-108 at home.

They will be certain of a prompt response because they have had more time in between games to get ready for the Hornets' arrival.

The Kings are 28-28 overall and have dropped their last two games.  They have a 19-19 record, meaning they have won as many games as they have lost at home.

Out of their last 16 games, the Hornets have only achieved three victories.  With a record of 14-41, they are currently fourth in the league and have been among the worst-performing clubs this season.

Following the All-Star break, Charles Lee's team has dropped two of their last three games.  The Hornets only managed one victory in their last six away games.

They have now dropped two straight games after failing to build on the defeat to the Lakers.  The Hornets just suffered one of their worst defeats of the season, losing to the Blazers 141-88.
