Milwaukee Bucks vs Washington Wizards Preview, What to Watch

In NBA action on Saturday morning, the Milwaukee Bucks go to the capital to play the Washington Wizards.  The Bucks are in fifth place in the East with a record of 30-24.  With a 9-45 record, the Wizards are at the bottom of the same conference, which is ahead of our estimate.

The Wizards had a successful start to February, winning three straight games after two losing streaks of 16 games this season.  Being the final home game of the season, they were all on the road and had a 0–4 record since returning to Capital One Arena.

This season, they are 0–2 against the Bucks, but both of those meetings have taken place in Wisconsin.  Those were close, with point margins kept to 10 and 11.

The Bucks are coming off a victory over the Los Angeles Clippers early on Friday morning.  This would be their simplest back-to-back, but they are only 4-5 in the second half thus far this season.

Below are four games. Although their supporters would view this as a very winnable opportunity, they must better their 500 on the road performance after the All-Star Break if they want to make a real run at the East.

Memphis Grizzlies vs Orlando Magic Preview, What to Watch

On Saturday morning, the Orlando Magic will welcome the Memphis Grizzlies in an NBA game.  Before our prediction for the game, the 28-29 Magic were ranked seventh in the East and the 36-19 Grizzlies were ranked third in the West.

After winning one game away from home yesterday night against the Atlanta Hawks, the Magic are playing seven straight at home.  Despite only being 5-8 since Christmas, they are 17-10 at the Kia Center.

The Magic's visit to Memphis came just three games into the season.  On that particular day, the Grizzlies defeated them 111-124.

The Grizzlies led 26 at the half in that contest of two halves.

With a 15–13 away record thus far this season, Memphis has been outstanding at home.  This includes yesterday night's crushing 113-127 loss to the Indiana Pacers.

Despite a challenging road trip finale in Cleveland, they maintained their position at the top of their conference with 10 victories in 11 games from January 15 to February 5.

New York Knicks vs Cleveland Cavaliers Preview, What to Watch

The NBA game between the Cleveland Cavaliers (45-10) and the New York Knicks (37-18) takes place at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse on Friday.  In the Eastern Conference standings, the Cavaliers are ranked first, and the Knicks are ranked third.  This is our prediction for the match.

The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Brooklyn Nets 110-97 on the road Thursday to get back to play following their NBA All-Star Weekend.

The team's top scorer, Donovan Mitchell, finished with 26 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists.  Evan Mobley and Darius Garland each contributed eighteen points.  They held their opponents to just 40 percent of the field and shot 42.6 percent overall.

The Cavaliers have won nine of their previous ten games, putting them in scorching form right now.  It should be noted that they are now winning five straight games.

In contrast, the New York Knicks were beaming as they made their NBA comeback following a one-week hiatus.  They defeated the Chicago Bulls 113-111 at home in overtime to extend their winning streak to three games.

Miles McBride scored 23 points, Jalen Brunson added 22 points and 12 rebounds, and Karl-Anthony Towns led the club with 32 points, 18 rebounds, and two dribs.

The Knicks are showing signs of a steady form as they have won five of their past six games.  Most significantly, they have a four-game winning streak on the road going into this matchup.

Miami Heat vs Toronto Raptors Preview, What to Watch

Following the All-Star break, the Toronto Raptors will host the Miami Heat when the NBA season resumes.  They are nine games behind the Heat in ninth place and have the third-worst record in the Eastern Conference going into this matchup.  Our prediction for this match is below.

The Raptors have only won twice in eight games going into the All-Star break.  The Clippers and Sixers were the opponents of the two victories.

Just before halftime, the high-flying Cavaliers crushed Darko Rajakovic's team 131-108 at home.  The Raptors have only won 17 games and lost 38.

Brandon Ingram is still not healthy enough to make his club debut, and Jakob Poeltl is not playing in this game.

In their three encounters with the Raptors this season, the Heat have won twice.  However, they have only lost once, in Toronto, and both victories have come at home.

They will win this regular season series if they can master an away victory.  Additionally, this is Erik Spoelstra's team's first appearance since the All-Star hiatus.

They also had a four-game losing streak going into the break and had only achieved two victories in eight games.  Of those four losses, three have occurred away from home.

Last time out, the Mavericks outscored the Heat 118-113.

Detroit Pistons vs San Antonio Spurs Preview, What to Watch

The NBA cross-conference game between the Detroit Pistons and the San Antonio Spurs takes place at Frost Bank Center on Friday.  The Pistons are ranked sixth in the Eastern Conference, and the Spurs are ranked 12th in the Western Conference.  This is our prediction for the match.

The San Antonio Spurs had a spectacular return to league play after their NBA All-Star Weekend.  On Thursday, they defeated the Phoenix Suns 120-109 at home.  They had won two of their last three games.

With 26 points, 9 rebounds, and 7 rebounds, De'Aaron Fox led the squad. Julian Champagnie and Keldon Johnson both scored a crucial 15 points.

In their recent home games, the Spurs have not been very convincing.  They had dropped six of their last eight games going into this matchup.  Before defeating the Milwaukee Bucks on February 1, they had just gone five games without a victory.

The Detroit Pistons entered the NBA All-Star Weekend smiling, despite the pressure they were under and the onset of tiredness.

On the second night of a back-to-back, they defeated the Chicago Bulls 128-110 on the road, extending their winning streak to four games.

After dropping their last three games, the Pistons have improved when traveling.  They had won two straight games going into this one, and they want to win three straight.

Oklahoma City Thunder vs Utah Jazz Preview, What to Watch

After the All-Star break, both clubs will begin their NBA campaigns, with the Oklahoma City Thunder traveling to play the Utah Jazz.  The Jazz are second from last in the Conference, while the Thunder come into this game with the best record in the West.  Our prediction for this match is below.

This season, the Jazz have lost both of their encounters with the Thunder.  The two last games of the season are now at home after both were away games.

Following an overtime loss to the Clippers at home, Will Hardy's team entered the All-Star break.  It was their 41st loss of the season and their fourth in the previous five games.

Collin Sexton, one of six players listed on the injury report, is unable to be selected because of an ankle problem.

If the Thunder can win this series, they will take home the trophy for the third straight season.  They are guaranteed to have a successful comeback following the break because they have been playing excellently all campaign.

Just before halftime, Mike Daigneault's team lost against the Timberwolves 116-101.  Their seven-game winning streak was ended with the defeat, which was their tenth of the season.

The only long-term absences for OKC on this trip are Ajay Mitchell and Nikola Topic. The team has won 44 games.

Minnesota Timberwolves vs Houston Rockets Preview, What to Watch

When the Houston Rockets play the Minnesota Timberwolves in the NBA next, they'll be hoping to get back to winning ways.  The Rockets, who are 3.5 games ahead of their seventh-place visitors, will start this game as the fourth seed in the Western Conference.  Continue reading to see our prediction for this game.

This season, the Rockets are experiencing their most difficult run of results.  Once ranked second in the West, Ime Udoka's team is now in fourth place.

They have lost eight of their previous nine games.  After losing to the Warriors 105-98 at home, the Rockets, who are playing their first game following the All-Star break, went into recess.

Additionally, this is the Timberwolves' first game following the All-Star break. After defeating the high-flying Oklahoma City Thunder 116-101, Chris Finch's team entered the midseason with a boost in morale.

It was their fourth victory in six games and ended a two-game losing streak. With their current record of 31–25, they are only 0.5 games away from earning automatic postseason spots.

In their three encounters this season, the T-wolves have triumphed twice over the Rockets. The previous time they were in Houston, they won a close game 113–11.

New Orleans Pelicans vs Dallas Mavericks Preview, What to Watch

On Saturday morning, the Dallas Mavericks will host a game against the New Orleans Pelicans. The Mavs are in eighth place in the Western Conference with a record of 30-26, while the Pelicans are in last place with a record of 13-42.

The Mavs are playing their last game in a five-game home stand. They lost against the Sacramento Kings by one point in overtime, and they are now 3-1 in the first four.

This season's final encounter between the two clubs has the Mavs leading 2-1 thus far. They lost the games in New Orleans but emerged victorious by a single point. The Mavs dominated their matchup in Dallas, winning 41-41!

Last time out, the Pelicans defeated the Sacramento Kings in overtime to end a 10-game losing streak. The victory was the third time in four games that they had defeated the Kings.

When traveling to Dallas, they had already dropped seven straight games. They lost to two of the lowest three teams in the East, but four of those were against the top three teams in the West.

Golden State Warriors vs Sacramento Kings Preview, What to Watch

In Friday's NBA matchup, the Sacramento Kings (28-27) will host the Golden State Warriors (28-27) at Golden 1 Center. In the Western Conference, the Warriors are in tenth place and the Kings are in ninth. This is our prediction for the match.

The Sacramento Kings lost to the New Orleans Pelicans 140-133 on the second night of a back-to-back against the same team, capping out their three-game road trip.

It was the Kings' first loss following a three-game league winning streak. They have a 3-3 record in their last six games, although their performance has been erratic.

They arrived at Golden 1 Center, a location where they have recently given performances that met expectations.

The only club that has defeated them in their last nine home games (W8) is the Orlando Magic.

This is the final game of the Golden State Warriors' seven-game road trip. They have won three of their previous six games and lost three of them.

Recently, on the second night of a back-to-back, the Warriors defeated the Houston Rockets 105-98. Additionally, because that victory was their third in four games, confidence should be high.

Recently, the visitors have had bad luck in this matchup. They enter this encounter looking to halt the rot after losing their past two games of the season.
